FINRA isn’t this strange monster that’s being portrayed here.
IBGR reported finalizing a merger, which is considered a CORPORATE ACTION on August 11th, so FINRA should not process the ticker change request for at least 60 days from then. I’m sure somebody has paid the $500 FINRA fee.
My guess is they are in a quiet period prior to some sort of offering.
